We had an amazing stay at Kim's place! When our initial rental fell through due to a broken AC unit, we found ourselves in need of another place. I reached out to Kim and she responded in minutes and had us checked into the apartment within the hour. The unit was as pictured, clean and conveniently located -- just a short drive to town and a few minutes more to the beaches. Windmill bar is right around the corner with amazing sunset views. The pool area has a great view and is a great place to relax after a day at the beach. Kim couldn't have been more helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

We LOVED our stay at Kim’s place. Kim was a such gracious host, greeting us upon arrival with a tour of the villa and grounds. A much appreciated welcome basket with local products, drinks and even homemade banana bread (which was so yummy!). She offered local recommendations and assistance to book activities and excursions. The villa itself was beautiful. Well appointed with nice furniture, comfy beds and everything we could need in the kitchen. Beach chairs, towels, snorkel gear and a cooler (all of which we used) were so appreciated, saved on packing space and cost of renting. The pool deck was nice and the views were amazing. Our favorite part of the trip was waking up early to the rooster crowing and sitting outside on the balcony enjoy the sunrise and island breeze. And then doing it again in the evening. Such a peaceful place. Perfect spot for our stay on island. We would 100% recommend this villa to anyone. Hoping to make it back soon!!

We had a great visit at Kim's place and would highly recommend staying here during your next visit to the beautiful island of St. John's. Kim was a great host, very attentive to our needs and even had some yummy treats waiting for us upon our arrival. We really appreciated all the amenities that were offered at the villa such as use of her snorkeling equipment, beach chairs, beach towels, washer/dryer, a well-equipped kitchen and the use of a shared pool area. The villa was very clean, the beds were comfortable and all our basic necessities were pretty much provided for. The villa was located about 5 minutes from downtown Cruz Bay and a short car ride (15-20 minutes) to most of the popular beaches along the north shores of the island. A couple of supermarkets were also only a short distance away which were helpful if you wanted to save a few dollars by not eating out three meals per day. We would certainly consider staying here again if we were to revisit the island.

The Guava suite was just as described! Kim made the check-in process super easy and the villa was easy to find. Both bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed to make some simple meals. The covered porch was great for morning coffee and those rainy days. It was fun to count the iguanas on the tree tops just off the porch (we counted 11 one rainy morning). We lost power during a storm and Kim was quick to text us an update. The power was restored within hours. We would definitely visit Kapok Villas again!

I can’t say enough about Kim and her hospitality! She was exceptionally proactive, provided tons of information to make our stay perfect and met us at the unit to help us get acclimated. The place was perfect for our group of three and everything was just as described! Gift bags, snacks, drinks and even homemade banana bread made the whole experience even better. The place was great, AC worked well for the nightime and the recommendations were perfect. We would love to stay at Kim’s place again the next time we come the St John.
