I stayed two nights at Edelweiss at the end of their season and had a magical time. Rico and Pip pay such close attention to detail to make their guests feel like family. Everything was spotless and clean, the bed was comfy and the food and service was excellent. I had one dinner with them and thoroughly enjoyed the company of the owners, being a solo traveler. I recommend the Rösti Edelwiess — the perfect warm, comfort food. The sunrise at Edelweiss was a beautiful sight! Would absolutely recommended and would stay again!

Rico & Pip were such welcoming and wonderful hosts. Incredibly charming house that is well worth the hike. And the food…delicious!! The beds are also so cozy I had trouble leaving in the morning. I hope to come back some day, it was so lovely.

I can’t recommend Rico & Philipa’s hut enough. The hike to reach their place is well worth it and they are both so friendly and helpful with suggestions of hikes in the area. Dinner was wonderful at reasonable prices, the room was cozy and the shared areas were clean. The included breakfast is indeed simple but I enjoyed it; it was all that that I needed, coffee, bread, cheese, milk, granola, oats. There’s also juice and tea. The area is just beautiful with an amazing view of Zermatt.

De loin mon meilleur airbnb à vie! La vue est à couper le souffle. Les levés du soleil au-dessus des montagnes sont tellement paisibles et à faire. Les couchés du soleil et les étoiles sont tout aussi magnifique à regarder. Tout est super propre et confortable. La nourriture est tout à fait délicieuse. Et que dire des hôtes! Adorable, charmant et très aidant. Toujours prêt à rendre service. J'ai eu de très belles conversations avec Pip. Un gros wow comme endroit. Il faut emporter léger par contre, car ça monte. Cela m'a pris 50 minutes de montée abrupte depuis la gare. Mais vous serez grandement récompensés en arrivant en haut par la vue, l'hospitalité sans égale de Pip et Rico et l'excellente nourriture. Je recommande fortement et reviendrai c'est sûr!
