This dead-end dirt road provides a quiet country escape. This is a lake-neighborhood, but it is important to know that the lake is currently non-existent due to the dam failures in the Midland area in Spring 2020. I am confident you will still find this a tranquil space for your family vacation or as an alternative to hotels when visiting friends or family in the Midland, Gladwin, or Beaverton areas. I have neighbors on both sides. Those on the west are great friends of mine and will likely introduce themselves if they are in town. Those on the east are seasonal and likely will not be home during your stay; however, I do ask that you respect property lines on both sides.

This location is certainly rural! There are a couple of small convenience stores within 3 miles (The Hook party store just a mile from the house even has a darling indoor and outdoor sitting area where you can enjoy a pitcher of beer!), but it will be about twenty-five minutes from the Midland Mall, cinema, restaurants, and large grocery stores. I will leave a list of recommendations to help you navigate to anything you need but I definitely recommend stocking up on what you need when you are in "town".
