We enjoyed our weekend away, my husband and I loved the downstairs outside area. During the day it is a little noisy from construction going on around, but overall it was a good visit
Great home for a quick weekend getaway
This place is super cute and a quick drive to everything!
We had a pleasant stay at this Airbnb! The place looked just like it does in the pictures, and it was easy to locate. The location is great, nestled between the town and the beach, which made getting around convenient. Communication before our arrival was smooth and helpful. However, during our stay, we encountered an issue. Despite reaching out about it, we didn’t receive a response. The house itself is clean, although some minor updates would enhance the experience. we overall enjoyed our stay and appreciated the comfortable accommodations. With a few improvements, this could be an even better spot for future guests!

The 'Surf Shack' is in a peaceful "up and coming" neighborhood. Like much of Galveston, the area is a mix of new construction homes, remodeled homes, as well as older homes. The neighborhood is on the East end of the island. It is a 5 minute or less from the Seawall, beach, The Strand, and many restaurants. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!
We are a quick drive or Uber to pretty much all the attractions on the Island. Within about 5 minutes of the beach, the Strand, UTMB and the Pleasure Pier. Very centrally located towards the East end of the island.
