Come look at the gorgeous fall leaves! Beautiful rustic cottage with big covered porches front and back, loaded with comfy furniture and blankets. Snuggle on the huge couch and watch a dvd from our collection or just 'Netflix and chill' with our 55inch tv. Play some albums on the record player or soak in our indoor jet tub! Go for long walks, see the fall colours. Only a five minute drive to town with all the amenities you need and famous hiking spot, Eagle Ridge. We have three bedrooms, two with cathedral ceilings and skylights on the second floor. One king size bed, one queen size and one twin bed in our bedroom on the main floor. The main floor bedroom with the twin bed has it's own private access to a full bathroom. The Bancroft House sits on an acre and a half with gorgeous views of our birch trees. Lots of room for kids and pets to play. Please note we are in the process of putting in a dog run, but for now please find long leashes on the property for you to use!

We enjoyed the stay at the cottage. Lisa was very responsive and took care of our concerns. The place was cozy and comfortable. Perfect getaway from the city!
Lisa's cottage is simply amazing, very clean and cozy. They have a thermostat so we were able to adjust the house temperature to our liking. Kitchen is well equipped and we made ourselves a nice breakfast, bed was comfortable, it was very quite in the area so we had a great sleep. They also have a lovely records collection. I would definitely recommend Lisa's place if you are looking for a place to stay in Bancroft.

Cozy without being small. Pretty inside and out. When I had a question about the heating Lisa replied quickly. I would definitely return and recommend to others. Cost less than 2 hotel rooms in town. Perfect for 3 adults including my 93 year old father.

This is a very quiet 'rural adjacent' area with lots of trees, big lawns and small lakes.
Take a beautiful drive through the trees, past a quiet dreamy lake and you'll find The Bancroft House, all on paved road.
You will be hard pressed to see any neighbours unless they're out mowing their lawns!
We have lots of parking on the property and we are a short drive to every amenity you might need. Including coffee shops, restaurants, groceries, pharmacy and beer/liquor stores.
