A really spacious and lovely place with everything for a comfortable stay. Craig was very helpful and all went smoothly. The neighbourhood is also relatively quiet and it’s an easy 20-30 minute walk into central town. Would definitely stay again if we visit Newcastle.

Craig’s place was perfect for us. We are a group of four friends from university who meet up biannually. We wanted separate bedrooms and found this house with 4 double bedrooms - unusual! The house was quirky and beautifully restored. It was spotlessly clean. We like to cook in the evenings and the open space meant cooking but chatting with each other at the same time was a very pleasurable, social experience. It was so easy to get to - 10 mins taxi ride from the station yet only a 20 mins walk into town on other days. We found St.James Park just around the corner and had a lovely walk through the park/pond beside it. We caught the train to Durham to visit the cathedral one of our days and the train was a 10 mins trip. The Biscuit Factory in Newcastle was a favourite - lovely art works and lunch. For those who enjoy spiritual, warm and welcoming places dot miss St. Nicholas Cathedral in town - wonderful! We certainly will recommend Craig’s place to our friends and family. Thank you

We really enjoyed our stay in the Zen Den. The house was on a quiet road and felt very safe. The interior was well decorated and clean. The bathrooms were spacious and had wonderful showers. Craig was incredibly helpful before our trip, giving us recommendations for bars and restaurants and even bought us a cafetière to use. We loved our stay and would highly recommend the house to anyone visiting Newcastle.
