This home has large windows for showcasing its jaw-dropping view of Whitefish Lake and a large deck perfect in summer! This home is perfect for two families wanting to share one house as the downstairs level is a two-bedroom unit with its own kitchen and dining area. The floor plan is inviting with a spacious kitchen with stainless steel appliances and plenty of cookware for making a great dinner at home! The Dining area just off the kitchen is perfect to enjoy a home-cooked meal together or play a game with a view! The dining table seats 6 with 4 more spots at the kitchen bar! Kick back and relax in the cozy living room with a wood-burning fireplace and flatscreen TV when the sun sets and wind down from your adventures! On the upper level, you will find 3 bedrooms! The master suite has a Queen-size bed, spacious closet and a large en-suite full bathroom. The master bath has a gorgeous tub, stand up shower and double vanity. Bedroom #2 moonlights as both an office and bedroom. This bedroom has a Queen-Size bed. Bedroom #3 has a Queen-Size bed. On the lower level, you will find a spacious 2 bedroom apartment unit complete with its own kitchen, dining and living room areas! The living room area has a large sectional and flatscreen TV! Bedroom #4 has a King-size bed, Closet, and TV. Bedroom #5 is perfect for the kids having two Twin over Twin bunks and a TV. The lower level has 2 full bathrooms as well! This home is perfect for a large family with multiple generations or a group of friends traveling together! Enjoy the beautiful views of Whitefish Lake off the deck of the home! Had such a wonderful stay for a ski trip. Location is perfect, so close to the mountain and DT Whitefish, in between both. We used the fireplace and really loved that, the view out back is amazing. Hot tub location is great. Home is in a quiet location, felt in nature. Property is extremely spacious, we didn’t even use the extra living space in the basement, were 8 of us in total. Beds super comfy and communication with Douglas was very friendly and responsive. We’ll definitely return and thanks for having us! Loved our trip.

Wonderful place to stay for a ski trip. The garage was handy to keep snow off the car and store the ski equipment. The fireplace was wonderful to gather around in the evenings, and the hot tub was great for the sore muscles. Sleeping beds are very comfortable; we all had great sleep each night. The thermostat instructions are accurate and should be followed and you’ll have no issues. Our only hiccup was that Flathead Electric Power appears to be cycling the hot water heater off between 5-8:30pm during “Peak” hours. This caused us to run out of hot water for bathing and cleaning cooking and eating utensils. We adapted, but this seems silly in a house with 400 gallons of hot water in a heated hot tub on the back deck. All things considered we had a fabulous time, and the house definitely enabled us to enjoy our visit to Whitefish Mountain to the fullest extent! We are already thinking about how and when we can return to the Big Mountain Treehouse for our next trip. Thank you!!
Douglas was a top notch host, one of if not the best I’ve dealt with on Air bnb. We loved staying here, it was close enough to whitefish mountain but still private enough to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The place was well furnished and supplied, clean and felt very at home. I would highly recommend staying here!!

We are located about 1 mile up Big Mountain Road on the way to the Whitefish Ski Resort. We are also only about 5 minutes from Downtown Whitefish. The house is located on a small, very private street.
