I had a very nice stay with Caroline and Ian. They were very friendly and easy to communicate with. The location is in a nice quiet area but you will require a taxi if not driving yourself as it is about 30 to 40 mins west of Dublin.

All was well with our stay, the room was exactly as described. Communicaton with Caroline was easy and quick, and changing our plans a couple of times was no problem at all. We were treated to coffee and biscuits on arrival, and - while we did no see a lot of each other - communication was easy and very friendly; as fellow dog- and horselovers do. Everything was spotless, WIFI worked a treat, and we LOVED LOVED LOVED the electric blanket in the bed; nothing better to thaw out after a day at the races. The location was what we looked for - near Fairyhouse Racecourse - and it was also very quiet, what we also enjoyed immensely; but note you do need a car to reach this property, and the roads are very very dark at night ;)

I stayed with Caroline and Ian for three nights and could not have been happier. From the outset I was made to feel invited and welcome into their garden home. Caroline and Ian's home is located amongst rural country lanes about 20-25 minutes outside of Dublin. The description of the location and surroundings matched exactly what I found, which is to say it was quiet, peaceful and a welcome sanctuary after a day of activity. I had a car hire and so access to surrounding towns was easy and effortless. The room offered is very spacious and tastefully decorated. The bed is large and comfortable, with a thick duvet and extra coverings should one want them. The bathroom is separate, close by and entirely yours. It was spotlessly clean and well appointed. I enjoyed the personal touches that made the space comfortable. A full Irish breakfast was available for $12.50 pp/pd and was AMAZING! I highly recommend staying with this wonderful couple. I certainly will!
