Keep it simple at this peaceful & centrally-located cabin at the entrance of Cave Run Lake & Daniel Boone National Forest. You’ll be less than a mile from the spillway, Stoney Cove, & the fish hatchery. Enjoy all Cave Run has to offer including: Pop’s BBQ, Elliot’s Pizza, kayak rentals, boat rentals, beach & boat access to the lake. Have your own boat? Bring it! We have plenty of parking at the Hoffman Hideaway. You’ll be less than 15 minutes from downtown Morehead, shopping/restaurants, & MSU. The snacks and coffee on the counter are complimentary. If you prefer drip coffee, there is a coffee maker under the cabinet and there are coffee grounds in the fridge. You can help yourself to the sugar in the cabinet and the creamer in the fridge. There are additional towels in the bedroom dresser and there are additional paper towels and toilet paper under the counter in the kitchen. There is fire wood on the porch for the patio. The couch in the living room pulls out into a bed that can sleep 1-2. The chair in the living room pulls out into a bed and sleeps 1. The bedroom sleeps 2.

Was the perfect place! Was easy to get to, great location for what we needed. Very proactive hosts.
It was nice to be close to the spillway and lake. It was rainy and we were grateful to be dry. It wasn’t as quiet and peaceful as advertised as it’s about 50 yards from the main road-but that made getting to the boat ramp easy. The kitchen is not fully stocked-lots of serving utensils but only one pot after we had to ask Morgan to deliver one. There’s a pizza cutter but no pizza pan, etc. - just not well thought out for those wanting to utilize the kitchen to cook. We had to choose between air conditioning or internet-only one choice as the air conditioner cord was nailed to the wall and there was no other plug available. It would be good for Morgan to check on the space after it’s been “cleaned”. Overall, Morgan being new to Air Bnb, is doing a good job and we hope the comments only serve to help her improve the space. The location cannot be beat for those wanting to go to the lake or go to great dining in the area.
It’s a cute cabin for just a little weekend getaway. The locals are really nice! The cabin was well cleaned and cozy. The patio was really nice to just relax and have fire pit
This was my 2nd stay here within the last month. Next time we go to Cave RunLake fishing, this is where we’ll stay!
We had a great time with my family! The wedding venue and the reception took us less than 5mins! It was an amazing stay! Couldn’t really say much because we were speechless of the place. Thank you Morgan for everything!

There’s a snow cone place right next to the cabin as well as a store where snacks and drinks can be purchased. Both walking distance. The dollar store is less than a mile away, as well as a couple local restaurants, “pops” and “Elliot’s.”
