I had such a great stay at Ryan’s place! The view from the balcony was so peaceful, especially with a cup of coffee. The property is a farm so expect some cute farm animals. Location was perfect. I can’t wait to go back and stay again.

Our stay at the farmhouse was amazing; the perfect break from city life! The scenery is beautiful and there is actually a groundhog that lives under one of the rocks next to the house. The sheep were pretty cool too! All of the amenities that are listed were there and Ryan was really helpful when we ran into any issues with parking or any other questions about the place. Some local places we frequented were the local tap and table which has really yummy mushroom ravioli, the creek house grill which has an insanely large pretzel appetizer and Irish themed decor and menu for St. Patrick’s day, also buck brook alpacas was a fun activity and a must if you have children. Overall, the trip was beautiful and everything we could’ve wanted for our anniversary!

Ultimately, this was a great value, Ryan was very communicative and helpful, the space was comfortable, and we loved the location. Things to be aware of: The fireplace is not in a room where you can enjoy it. Don't book this place for the fireplace! There was a mouse rifling about and droppings we had to clean up - Ryan was helpful and compensated us for our trouble, but it was unpleasant. We also entered an extremely cold cabin which took hours to warm up. After the initial warm-up it was very comfortable for the rest of our stay. The area around the cabin is beautiful and I'm sure this would be really fun in warmer weather with the fire pit outside. I'll reiterate that I think the value was fair and Ryan was quick to reply and help. Just good to know what you're getting into!

The location of this place was beautiful especially when we went in snow. House is a bit dilapidated so maintenance would be required especially given the price. Our experience was not great though since there was a rat in kitchen and it moved around several times. We had to leave a night before our actual checkout since two people in our group were extremely scared. The host didn't help by ignoring our message, whereas he was responding to other queries on the side. host also not ready to issue a fair refund after this happened with us.
