New listing January 2024! Five minutes drive away from Cane Garden Bay and ten minutes from town, Botanica is a garden oasis spanning over an acre, with four standalone houses. By day, you will be amazed by the views of the hills, the bay and neighbouring islands. At night, you will be lulled to sleep by the sounds of nature - crickets, frogs and the whispering of the coconut fronds. This one-bedroom cottage will comfortably accommodate two adults and comes fully-air conditioned with split air-con units in the bedroom and living space. Each area also comes with a ceiling fan. You will have access to fast wi-fi throughout the property. In this cottage, you will find: Bedroom with king-sized bed (mattress is medium soft-firm) & 4 king-sized pillows, chest of drawers with six drawers for clothes, two lamps, two bedside tables and a large mirror; Open plan living room with plush sofa, armchair and ottoman, side lamp for reading and a coffee-table you can move around to wherever you need it; TV with Netflix capability in the living room; Fully-equipped kitchen contains reverse-osmosis filter for drinking water, a full-sized fridge with freezer, gas stove with gas oven, microwave oven, toaster, drip-coffee maker, pots and pans, dinnerware, water glasses, wine glasses and mugs; Bathroom with hot/cold shower and tap, stand for clothes, hair dryer, clothes hamper; Walk-in closet with extra blanket and quilt, ironing board and iron, laundry basket, ample velvet hangers on a rail to hang your longer outfits and space for your luggage; Outdoor patio with space for you to sit down and have a drink under the coconut leaves, whilst looking out towards Jost Van Dyke island; Under-house separate laundry room with washing machine and dryer; Automatic backup generator in case of cuts to regular electrical supply. ** Please note: ** Accessibility: accessible only by stairs, no wheelchair access. This place is absolutely incredible. The home sits in a lush garden setting with nearly 180 degrees of water views on the property. The tropical gardens, island views, ocean views, and view of Brewer's Bay from the bedroom are some of the most gorgeous views we have ever seen. The cottage itself is bright, airy, clean, and nicely decorated. The bed is very comfortable; and it was so relaxing falling asleep to the ocean and nature sounds. We felt like we had everything we needed. We loved the close proximity to Cane Garden Bay and Brewer's Bay. We often visited Cane Garden Bay for lunch and went to Brewer's for relaxation and privacy. The hosts (Saj and Stu) were incredible - warm, friendly, extremely helpful with any questions we had, and class acts all around. They definitely know what they're doing here. If you’re looking for a true getaway to recharge, this is the place. We were so grateful to have been here. Can't say enough nice things about this property and the amazing hosts.

This place exceeded our expectations. It really felt like paradise being there. It's high up on the hill with astounding views of Brewer's Bay. It is clean, light, airy and spacious enough for 2 people with a nice sized bedroom and main room. Saj is a wonderful host, couldn't ask for better and the cottage instructions were clear and concise. She and Stuart live on the property so if you need anything, they are right there. The 2 best beaches on Tortola are 2 miles away in either direction. Go to Brewer's Bay for a low key beautiful beach. Nicole's beach bar is there and that's it. For the incredible sunsets and a little more activity, go to Cane Garden Bay. There are a few restaurants (Myett's on the beach has a restroom) and bars. If you rent a car, you will need a 4 wheel drive, don't let them try to give you a small car. The hills and driving on Tortola are not for the timid, but we've been doing it for 25 years. Pick up groceries before you head up.

Luck Hill sits on a ridge between Cane Garden Bay and Brewer's Bay.
Cane Garden (5 minutes drive down) is BVI's most popular beach, known for its beach bars and restaurants.
Brewer's Bay (5 mins drive down the other way) is where the locals go for a morning walk on the beach or to snorkel the reef.
Luck Hill is a respectable and quiet residential neighbourhood; within it is a trail under large shady trees, on which you can enjoy a walk any time of the day, with barely anyone around.
Four-wheel drive is best or scooter to get around the island's many hills. Free parking is available outside the property's main entrance archway.

We came here in 2018 to work and fell in love with the lifestyle, decided to buy a property and stay. Tortola offers the opportunity to work in my field, yet I am able to get time to do sport almost daily - squash and surfing are my thing. The property consists of four homes: two we put on Air BnB, one with long-term tenants. My wife (Sajitha), 3 dogs and myself stay in the main house. We hope you enjoy our property.
