Hello my name is John, and together with my wife Therese, would like to invite you to "The Mill House", a Bed and Breakfast in Stratford. We are both locals and have lived in the district all of our lives. We live in the house, and will be here to greet you on arrival. We are both passionate about entertaining, and love hosting and spoiling our guests. My interests include music, gardening, fishing, golf and most of all cooking. Therese is the artistic half of the duo who is a talented musician and (soon to be) published author. She is a great entertainer and with a little encouragement,tinkles on her piano and strums her guitar after dinner. We have two female whippets, Jinx and Zoe, two adorable kittens, Sam and Izzy, and four beautiful verbeek hens, who are part of the family. If you have allergies or issues with our furry friends, perhaps The Mill House is not for you. PLEASE NOTE: a minimum two nights stay is required at all Holiday periods, such as the Christmas period (which includes all of January), School holidays, Easter, and Long Weekends . As the Mill House, is a “Bed and Breakfast”, in the true sense, rather than a Guest House, we do not allow Guests to prepare meals in the kitchen. There are plenty of good places to eat in Stratford, in nearby Maffra. and in Sale. If you are looking for a place where you need to self cater, the Mill House will not be suitable.
