You will love our 3 bedroom charming home on 2.2 beautiful acres in peaceful community. Perfect for couples, friends, families, singles to explore distilleries, horse farms, quaint small towns of Versailles, Midway, Lawrenceburg, country backroads, much more. OR relax, enjoy nature, butterflies, birds, deer. Let us make lodging highlight of your visit. Single floor house with no steps or stairs. Flat driveway and walkway onto no step porch and no step entrance into house. No steps inside house. One step down to side porch and no steps onto deck. Three bedrooms. Master bedroom with king size tempur-pedic mattress, private bath, fire TV, plenty of closet space and French doors opening onto deck. Bedroom two, queen foam mattress, fire TV, walk-in closet, connects to Jack and Jill bathroom with accessible walk-in shower. Bedroom three has bunk full size mattresses with chaise sofa, Fire TV, closet with shelves. Spacious living room with power recliner/lift chair. Plenty of seating. Fire TV. Large bookcase with variety of books. Large fully equipped kitchen with many extras in cookware, utensils and basic food items needed for cooking. Keurig coffee maker, Mr. Coffee drip coffee maker with variety of coffee and supplies, hot chocolate and tea. Microwave, dishwasher, electric stove, full refrigerator with ice maker, blender, toaster. Dining table with seating for 6-8 in dining room. Sunroom with lots of comfortable seating and beautiful views and French door opening to the deck. Guest half bath. Delightful front porch with comfortable seating to relax and listen to birds sing. Drink your morning coffee with breakfast on the small side porch off kitchen. Large deck with gas grill, outdoor dining and plenty of comfortable seating and string lights. Large lawn bordered by small creek. Enjoy three flower gardens when in season. Watch birds at the many feeders and bird houses. If you are an early morning person, you may catch sight of deer going across property. Make smores on the elevated fire pit. Or sit in chairs under the large pine tree and relax. If you are a runner, walker or cyclist then you will especially enjoy the beautiful country roads beside house as well as in the community. Or get in your car and drive over the fascinating and beautiful backroads--many which are lined with old dry stacked rock fences

I can't say enough good things about our stay at Flo's Bird Song Valley home. The house and all the extra amenities were all 5 star!!! Flo was very responsive to any questions I had prior to the visit and contacted me a couple times the day before our arrival to make sure we had everything we needed. You could honestly feel while talking with her she wants your visit to her home to be perfect! This was my first time renting an Airbnb and I'm afraid it may have spoiled me for any other Airbnb homes. We were in the area for my daughter's college graduation. She has a job in the area and has decided to in Kentucky so now when I go to visit Flo's Bird Song Valley home will be my first choice to stay! It's such a peaceful and relaxing place. I cannot wait to visit again!
We loved staying at this place. It is out of town which makes it peaceful and relaxing. You can sit on the porch and enjoy nature and even see deer in the yard. You can still get into neighboring towns and Versailles/Lexington quickly. Flo was very helpful and responsive. She accommodated a request we had and was always friendly. The house had all of the amenities we could want and even had little touches that made it feel very welcoming. Would highly recommend staying here. We hope to stay again in the future and see more of the area.
Absolutely the best Airbnb we every stayed at! Flo and Don are truly the best hosts! Their hospitality far exceeded our expectations. This countryside house is immaculate and stocked with everything you will need. Flo even provided homemade blueberry muffins for our arrival! The beds are extremely comfortable, and all the furnishings are first class. If you are looking for a peaceful setting for your vacation, this is it. We used this house as our base for a trip to the Kentucky Oaks and Derby. Plus, the house is in the middle of horse breeding country. If the house is available, not need to look any further, just book it! If we return to the area, we will absolutely stay here again. Flo and Don, thank you for sharing your house and making us feel like family. This was a trip of a lifetime!!

Located on 2.2 acres only 10 minutes from Bluegrass Parkway, 20 miles from I 64, 30 minutes from I 75. Lexington downtown, 29 minutes. Bluegrass airport, 19 minutes. Best of both worlds. Peaceful rural community only 10 minutes from charming small town of Versailles with several unique shops and restaurants. 17 minutes from Keeneland thoroughbred racetrack, 28 minutes to University of KY, 29 minutes to Rupp Arena, 12 minutes to small town of Lawrenceburg, KY, 20 minutes to historic Midway. Wild Turkey distillery 2.8 miles. Woodford Reserve 9.5 miles. Several other distilleries close by including Castle and Key, Four Roses and Buffalo Trace. Rail Explorers Tour 3.1 miles. Bluegrass Hospital, 10 minutes, University of KY Medical Center, 30 minutes, The Kentucky Castle is 16 minutes. Several wineries close by. Several horse farms that offer tours. Kentucky Horse Park 35 min. Shakertown 40 minutes. Churchill Downs 1 hr and 15 minutes. Falling Spring Recreation Center with indoor and outdoor pools and Woodford Theatre only 6 minutes. And numerous other attractions.
Wide variety of popular restaurants vary anywhere from 10 minutes to 30 minutes away. The very popular restaurant The Stave (located between Woodford Reserve and Castle and Key) 12 miles/20 minutes. Grocery 10 minutes.
Hillsides surround the valley where Birdsong is located. Lots of wildlife. Not unusual to see deer, wild turkeys and other wildlife. Butterflies love to visit. Lots of singing birds. Great neighborhood. Quiet, peaceful. Favorite backroads of many cyclists. Interesting info is in this community, there once were distilleries that closed during prohibition. A large warehouse, that is now storage, on BIRDSONG property was previously a distillery warehouse. The house was built on foundation of previous distillery tasting building/room.
Guests will need a car. It is a rural residential neighborhood and not on any bus routes.
