Angie & Jay were wonderful host. The grounds and scenery were amazing! We enjoyed the fire-pit and the hot tub each evening after a long day of visiting the distilleries. Prior to our visit, I spoke with Jay about booking the tour with him. I explained to him what we were interested in and within no time he had texted me an itinerary of distilleries to visit and tour and tastings at select ones. What a fantastic tour guide! His knowledge of the distilleries and history of the craft made our visits to each bourbon distillery, memorable along with the little extras, such as a bottle signing and some photo ops with a few of the owners and master distillers! Oh, and the tours and tastings are not to be missed! Thanks Jay and Angie, we’ll be back and so will our friends. Cheers!!

We loved our time in Bourbon Barrel Cottages. We met both hosts in person and they were both super friendly, responsive and helpful. We really wanted peace and quiet and that’s exactly what we found. The entire property was beautiful and well maintained. We enjoyed sitting on the front deck in the rockers, enjoying the breeze and birds visiting the bird feeder in front of our cottage. Watching the sunset and stars while having a fire in the fire pit or while in the jacuzzi. Also conveniently located to many distilleries. Cottage was well appointed with everything we needed. Will definitely plan to visit again and recommend to friends.

I am already planning our next trip back! These cottages were beautiful inside and out. Jay and Angie very extremely friendly, responsive and accommodating. I felt at home while staying at the cottages and was able to disconnect from the world for a while to enjoy the nature. Super close to distilleries and the highway.

We stayed here for my boyfriend’s birthday weekend and it was the perfect place! Enough space for the two of us, and Angie and Jay did not skip over any detail! We also booked 2 days worth of Bourbon Tours and Tastings and the whole experience was amazing. Jay was super helpful during the planning process and figuring out the itinerary, and our tour guide Toby was awesome!! We highly recommend staying and booking a tour with Bourbon Barrel Cottages! No detail was missed!!

A great little getaway with everything we needed to relax and spend time away. I loved having the fully stocked kitchen to cook meals so no takeout needed. The hot tub was great, though it didn’t get to temperature/hot enough. And the fire pit was a great spot to spend all day and night. We could have used a little more room in the bathroom to place our things. All in all, we plan to come back and hopefully being some family or friends with us next time!
