Such an extraordinary host and location! Stella was amazingly accommodating when I needed to make a last minute trip due to a family emergency -- I booked online in the afternoon for that night and within an hour Stella reached out and coordinated my check-in and stay. The place was very easy to access, super clean and comfortable, and set in the perfect location.

Do not bother. No heat, black hair all over the comforter and sheets. Stains on the comforter. Random pair of shoes left behind. Went to make a cup of coffee to warm up and found old coffee grinds with mold growing in it. All after being told not to check in until 3 because the “cleaning lady would be there”. Horrible cell phone. The only nice thing is the close proximity to the beach.

Though the basics of this little guest house are fine, there were too many details that were neglected for me to give a five-star rating. Be aware that although it is a short walk to the beach, the path is heavily rutted and difficult to traverse when muddy or icy (as I suspect it is much of the time). Also, this has to be about the hilliest part of Long Island. The only road to the house often had areas of minor flooding, and one time it was deep enough to make my car's electronics very unhappy (temporarily).
