The living space was very bright and airy, and the location worked well for us, just a short drive into Waimea. Lea was very accommodating.
Lea & Pat’s home was perfect for us! Lea was so warm and welcoming, making many recommendations and going out of her way to be sure we were set up for success with our star gazing adventure! We were spoiled with fresh produce upon arrival and lucky enough to arrive when there were ripe avocados to enjoy! We loved being so close to all that Waimea has to offer. We enjoyed visiting Hawi and the Pololu Valley. A must stay location! Thank you to Lea for everything!
My husband and I stayed at Lea and Pat’s guest house for almost a week. It was the perfect size for the two of us. The pictures featured look just like the place. We adventured around Waimea and went to several local beaches. Hilo and Kona are both about an hour-ish away from this place, which is right off the main road but very private and quiet! We left the windows open at night and the breeze coming through was great, we will definitely rebook with Lea and Pat the next time we come back!
Lea & Pat’s place is an inviting home away from home where you can explore Waimea from. I saw 2 rainbows during my stay there! Lea & Pat are very response & friendly. Mahalo!

Lea, born and raised on the Island of Hawaii, just returned with her husband, Pat. We think Waimea is the very best place to live -- central, a little cooler and surrounded by an adorable town. We offer Hawaiian hospitality to travelers who are looking for an authentic island experience. We love the Big Island and know it well. The best part of hosting is getting to share tips and tricks with our guests and make sure they see the real deal while staying with us.
