This was my second time here and that should be enough said, I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in St. John’s. The house is small and somehow perfect. Enough space for everyone but the most sought after seat in the house was the chairs at the kitchen table looking out over the Harbour. I walked to Quidi Vidi one evening to grab dinner at the brewery, what a great few hours. The view is very beautiful and you can watch the fishing boats, rig supply vessels, coastguard and even Cruise ships coming and going all day long. This time I brought my binoculars and it was a good call. Annie who lives locally looks after the house and is a very warm and helpful person. She knows everything. Deanie was great and very responsive and responsible. I will be back again for sure

I feel so lucky we were able to stay at Deanie’s cozy retreat. The views were spectacular, the home was even cuter than the listing and we had such a great time enjoying what signal hill has to offer. Her neighbour Annie was an absolute gem. What a magical place to end our holiday! Will definitely book here again.

This very cute and cozy house has unbeatable views of the working harbour, and fantastic proximity to the Signal Hill and harbour walking trails. Once around is not enough to do these trails justice, and we felt very lucky to have such easy access. Every day people went streaming past, on quests to find what we had: we were quite obviously exactly where everyone else wanted to be. All we met were extremely friendly, but no one more so than Annie, who minds the place when Deanie is away. Annie lives close by, and you won't find a better perspective on St John's than hers. The house is close to everything you need: there are 2 full grocery stores within 5 minutes drive, and several places to grab necessities within walking distance. All in all, a very comfortable, well-positioned and well-equipped stay. We toured around town quite a bit, and I don't think we could have chosen a better spot. Thanks to you both for a wonderful time!

Absolutely amazing from start to finish, Wonderful hosts, Nice clean comfy beds after long days of fresh air. Above and beyond service And above average stocked. She had absolutely everything we needed and more. The view of the harbour was just as the pictures showed, even on the foggy Days it’s beautiful Will most definitely go back
