Comfortable beds, plenty of pillows and blankets. AC in the house worked well and where there was no AC in two rooms, the host provided fans. Pool table and dart board in basement was nice surprise. While Kitchen was well equipped, the implements, knives, etc were all a bit of a mish mash and not the kind of quality a home cook would probably prefer. Prep area, pantry, and refrigerator were ample and there was an assortment of standard spices and oil. Internet and cable was perfect the entire week we were there. Beach was a 20 min walk so not really within walking distance (especially if you have kids with you) but it was nice to have access. A very peaceful beach with small waves, probably good with small kids who enjoy castle building/digging or for quiet reflection and sun worship. Not as good if you want activity and waves. Overall though a very comfortable stay.

We loved staying at the beautiful A-frame house in Dartmouth. John was so helpful during the entire process. It was wonderful that we were able to use his car with a resident beach pass to access the beautiful town beach just minutes away. The house was so comfortable and well stocked. It made for a very enjoyable stay for our party of 8 and being able to bring our golden doodle with us. The house is a good 15-20 mins away from most stores and restaurants which was fine with us. We loved visiting Padanaram Village, great bakeries and seafood restaurants in New Bedford and even took day trips to Newport and Water Wizz in Wareham.

Sweet A-scape. The most perfect A-frame house on a private street that led to a town resident beach only with a large yard for my dog! Inquiries about the house and location led me to book with John in no time. Very responsive to messages and texts during our stay. John provided great recommendations around the area and a dog friendly beach down the road. The house was exactly as he pictured on the listing and was very clean upon entry. John greeted us upon check-in and gave us a walk-thru of the house. Best part was he lent us a car with the beach pass to use at our leisure during our stay, which included beach chairs and an umbrella! Overall, we loved the house and the area as it allowed us to really relax and unwind during our stay!

We had a wonderful trip in South Dartmouth. John and Jane were amazing hosts, so responsive and helpful with tips and recommendations. The house itself is lovely and the area was peaceful while still being close to the beach and a cute town. We also easily did a day trip to Martha’s Vineyard. Overall we would absolutely recommend a stay here!
