We had a fabulous stay in the Old Rectory. Perfectly located in the picturesque village of Penshurst with a great pub across the way for when we didn’t want to cook in the apartment. We can highly recommend the property and the location. We were able to spend a day in London as well as a day locally with family.

We enjoyed every moment of our stay in Penshurst, and Neil and Karen were fantastic hosts who looked after us with consideration and great kindness. The property is truly unique and exceptionally beautiful, and we could not have wished for a better time. Would recommend to anyone.

Unique, cosy and historic appartment located on the top floor of a large historic house in the middle of Penshurst village, this appartment was the perfect setting for our weeklong getaway to rural Kent in early December. The appartment fit our family of two adults and a small child well, with two bedrooms and a separate living room and small kitchen. The location is in the middle of the village, with easy access to Penshurst Place, the pub and village store. The village of Penshurst offers just enough amenities for car-free travellers like us including a pub, village store and hourly bus connections to Tunbridge Wells (but notably not Tonbridge). However we'd probably come with a car in the future as it is a bit isolated. Our host kindly offered us a ride to the railway station on the way back.

Lovely location if you want to exolore Penshurst, Hever and Chiddingstone. Well equiped, clean accommodation and helpful hosts.
