Travis was very responsive and the location was beautiful. We were warned that there was an algae bloom, but we ended up deciding to reschedule and go anyway since we were told we could not cancel. Unfortunately, every surface in the trailer was covered in sand and dead bugs. There are no screens on any windows, so mosquitoes swarm in if you try to get fresh air. The AC unit and charger system did not seem to work. There was a microwave in the photos that was not really there. I thought that a bathroom would be located on-site, as that was how I interpreted the listing, but the bathroom was about 1/2 mile up the road. The bathroom uses a tank of non-potable water that appears to come from the lake, so we did not feel comfortable showering. The area was beautiful. I would just make sure to go with expectations that this is camping, not an airbnb-style experience! I think some small touches, like providing a hand towel for the bathroom, would go a long way.

Bathroom was really far, sand was everywhere inside, I asked if the roof vent was fixed and host said it was. Roof vent does not close, the handle is missing and we tried everything to close it. Unfortunately we had to leave at 1am because our trailer was swarming with mosquitoes and the rain started to leak through that roof vent.
