Great communication from Sarah. The house is in a great Location with a lovely homely feel. Excellent to be able to bring the dogs & a really nice touch to provide a little basket of bits for them. Just over a mile from Matlock centre lots of options for eating out & takeaways. We were out walking most days & absolutely lovely to return & curl up by the log burner with the added bonus of there being Netflix too if nothings on the T.V.

We had an absolutely wonderful short break at Owl Cottage. The location is perfect especially as we didn’t have a car - trains and buses are right on the doorstep yet it’s quiet and peaceful and there are so many places to visit that are walking distance away. We visited the Heights of Abraham and walked to Matlock, Cromford and Matlock Bath as well as doing the circular walk up to Riber Hall. The cottage itself had everything we needed and more, and has the most spectacular views i’ve ever had in a holiday home. Even got to watch the fireworks from the garden on Saturday night! Perfect autumn getaway and we will definitely want to come back.

Great location and very comfortable and well equipped cottage with fantastic views. The garden had different seating areas from which you could enjoy the view and relax. Walking distance to Matlock and Matlock Bath where there are lots of places to eat or takeaways. There is a nice pub opposite plus one about 10 minutes walking distance away down the hill. We would highly recommend for its comfort and location and Sarah’s communication was very good and replied promptly to any questions we had and reassuring to know she could be contacted but was not at all intrusive. Good location for visiting Chatsworth , Haddon Hall, Crompton Mills and The Heights of Abraham.

This is the best Airbnb I've been to! Beautifully kept, clean and stunning views. The bed was so comfy, I slept brilliantly all week. The airbnb was situated in a lovely part of Matlock Bath, with a short 15 minute walk from the train station. We've loved the view of the valley and the Heights of Abraham from the garden and enjoyed it every morning. Thank you Sarah for being a brilliant host!
