The property itself was fantastic. It’s a part of a beautiful hotel right on the lake with a swimming pool and several food options right on the premises. The location was very convenient too to a small town with restaurants and sightseeing, grocery store and Pharamacy close by. However, the property is mismanaged. A lot of amenities that were listed on Airbnb were missing. For example, there was NO air conditioning in the bedrooms (there were plug in air fans that they called ACs which clearly they are not). The check in process was not smooth (there was misinformation about the location of the key and it took us extra time to locate it). Upon our arrival, we found only one towel left for 3 guests. This place is not suitable for small children, as the winding staircase is very dangerous. Baby safety gates were listed in amenities but not provided. There were a few other mishaps, for which the hosting team kept on blaming the cleaning lady, the prior tenants and the fact they are traveling on vacation and cannot help us. Overall, I would say, if you are only adults traveling and don’t need a lot of amenities, it could still be a good option for you. People, traveling with small children, should consider other options.
