Most of the property was amazing and as advertised, particularly the pool which was beautiful. Location was fantastic, a great spot to chill out at after a day visiting the sites around Yamba. Sadly I will have to say that unfortunately the outdoor area of the property was not as advertised and was half way through the construction of a new pagoda area, at no point during the booking process did the property management advise of the unfinished construction works. The area posed safety issues and an unpleasant place to spend time, as where the deck flooring had been removed there was still glue, timber pieces, nails and wall plugs remaining protruding from the concrete floor, the walls had cables hanging out of them and were still unskimmed plaster board. This area, alongside the pool, was the main reason we booked this property and the unpleasantness very much took away the ability to be able to relax.

A really lovely quiet holiday retreat. We stayed 5 nights. It was ideal to explore surrounding areas in the morning (Grafton and the magnificent jacarandas, Ulmarra for a memorable lunch at the pub, the quaint Aussie/Scottish town of Maclean, the slow boat to Iluka) and then come ‘home’ to loll around the pool, delighting in the use of the BBQ and the best Yamba prawns. Easy to explore the beaches, eateries and colourful shops of Yamba. You will absolutely need a car to get around, there is plenty of room to park on the premises. We happily recommend this house and hope to one day return.
