Very welcoming feel as soon as we walked through the door. Everything that we needed was to hand. Cottage was warm and cozy and comfortable. Lots of quirky little features, the landing was beautifully lit with fairy lights and so many books I could have spent whole visit just curled up reading :0) loved the wooden shutters upstairs and the beds were very comfortable. Beautifully decorated. Kim had left me a cake for my birthday and other little treats. We were pre warned that parking was on the street and sometimes a problem but we parked right outside and never had a problem,plenty of spaces. Stairs were steep but not major problem. Water pressure in hot water tap in kitchen and bathroom sink wasn't great but was hot ,bath water pressure was great . The playing field opposite is very dog friendly and lots of walks in the area, information about what was available locally provided in cottage. Would definitely recommend this home from home to anyone and will definitely book again.

This was an great place to stay for our weekend exploring the Island and was comfortable with all that we needed. The stairs are very steep with narrow treads so take care. Good location as only 10 minutes or so walk from centre of Newport. Nice and quiet road.

We enjoyed our stay, and Kim was swift to respond to my request to fix the TV. Parking was challenging but manageable. It was a shame the garden had overgrown with bind weed/ivy and the water leak issue, as this made it less easy to access/use it. The bathroom shower has a low ceiling so doesn't suit 6ft + people and the mixer tap can make it tricky to get the temperature correct.

A quirky property in a quiet street. The property has everything you need for a home away from home break. On arrival there was a pint of milk and some biscuits which was lovely. The host Kim was very responsive as during our stay there were a couple of issues and these were rectified straight away. The staircase in the property is very steep though so great care is needed when using it.
