Beautiful cottage, fabulous location perfect host.
We LOVED Mulberry Cottage! The cottage is perfect for 'singletons or couples', with a comfortable bed and otherwise very well equipped for a holiday stay. The location is wonderful; ideal if one seeks peace and quiet and/or walks in fantastic countryside. Our advice would be to take enough food to last for the duration of your stay and hide away the keys to your car so that you really get away from it all for a few days!
Had a really fantastic stay at Lisa's. Lots of good walks from the house, short walk (up a hill) to the local pub but also easy route to the stepping stones. Not far from Bakewell and Chatsworth which are well worth a visit. Lisa was a super helpful and responsive host and the space was spotless and very nicely finished. Would definitely recommend a visit and hope to come back!
Had an amazing 4 nights stay at Mulberry cottage, lovely and quaint in a very peaceful location. A luxury welcome pack and fresh flowers on arrival and the the cottage was spotless with top quality bed linen and towels. There are fantastic walks in every direction from the doorstep, we were very fortunate with the weather and made full use of the great cooking facilities so had no need to use the car. Lisa was a great host and very generous with offering us an early check in and late checkout, we will not hesitate to consider another stay.
I visited this location to take my partner sightseeing around the beautiful peak District for new year's. The location is private in a small village with only the local sheep peering in on the garden. During the day there are lots of ramblers walking through the town but they are no bother. we didn't spend tons of time at the cottage as we were out most of the time however it was a lovely place to be in the evening. you definitely need the fire to keep the living room a comfortable temperature so be prepared to buy more wood and kindling, admittedly we didn't ask Lisa for more so she may be able to facilitate this! I just dont like being a bother! Overall, beautiful location and beautiful home.
