We had an amazing long weekend in this beautiful cottage. Ashley and his family were extremely friendly and hospitable - we were welcomed like old friends. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous home with us. Ashley made sure we had great recommendations of places to eat, drink and walk. Hector the dog was a wonderful addition to our welcoming party too! We're already looking forward to our next visit.

Fabulous place to stay. Immaculately clean and comfortable. After a days walking we received a warm friendly welcome from Ashley. He was very accommodating and happy to help with any queries but also left us to relax in private. Perfect balance as a host. Highly recommended if you want some peace and quiet.

We had a lovely time in Stean. The home itself is so comfortable, very clean and had everything we need. We particularly enjoyed the underfloor heating! Great location for birding and Ashley even went out of his way to ask some local friends where I could find the birds I was looking for. The bread and jam was a nice touch too. Honestly couldn’t fault it. If we ever return to the Dales, we’ll visit again.

An absolutely beautiful stay with amazing scenery!! Ashley was so kind and welcomed us as soon as we got there. The cottage was absolutely lovely and definitely recommend if you’re a big Walker. There is things to do but they’re about a 20/30 minute drive away e.g Pateley bridge absolutely stunning and so peaceful!!! Would 100% stay again

Felt very welcomed by Ashley and loved the beautiful rural setting. The accomodation was superb. Would loved to have stayed longer.
