The cottage is up on a hill, away from the main road so it's very quiet. Deer, quail and bunnies were daily visitors. The deer were a bit skittish but didn't run away. The cottage itself was clean, had pretty much everything we needed. Lots of outdoor seating as well. The couch was super comfy, as well as the beds. It's a great place for seclusion away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The cabin is even nicer than the photos! Lots of natural light and beautiful views of nature out of every window. The furniture and appliances and linens are all nice quality and in good shape. The wood heated hot tub was really nice and a fun project to heat up for a relaxing soak in the evenings. The cabin is in a very private spot. Positioned on a clearing at the top of a rock bluff, above the main road, it has a nice combination of being surrounded by nature without feeling closed in by it. The view is very big and wide open. The main road below and houses around are all well concealed by trees and rock bluffs. We had a very relaxing time there. It was just what we needed!

A perfect getaway. Megan was an amazing host and the wood fired hot-tub and firepit was so much fun for the family.

A great place that is 30 minutes outside of Victoria. Very private location surrounded by many different hiking trails.
