We had a great stay at Ruben’s place. From the airport, the taxi driver knew exactly where to go. Once we were there, we walked the whole time and it was always easy to get back to. The staff at the condo is so friendly and helpful. One gentleman helped us with our luggage, took us straight to our room and explained what we had access to as far as kitchen amenities. There was a 5 gallon jug of water that he set up for us which got us through almost our entire six day stay. As others have mentioned, the building is older but very clean. We felt right at home right away. I found the beds to be comfortable but my sister likes hers a little less firm so she added cushioning. The grocery store, about a half a block away, was a life saver. They also have a little restaurant in the grocery store that’s open until 8pm that has really good Mexican food. The pool was the best! Super chill. A quick ten minute walk south of Ruben’s gets you beach access. Ruben was very responsive and welcoming

This was our 2nd stay in this unit so we liked it enough to come back. Some pros--great staff, large bottle of water provided with dispenser and very reasonable cost to replace when needed, pool is nice, close to the beach, patio table with umbrella, Ruben very responsive to minor issues that came up, 1 block to Soriana grocery store, Internet is good, kitchen is stocked with basic dishes and cookware, nice large refrigerator, close to buses. Some cons (for us)--smoking is allowed and we were surrounded by smokers so we couldn't enjoy the patio table as much as we wanted, noisy guests in the pool area at times, condo and furnishings are showing their age but are still functional, bed is very firm, can be noisy if the people above or in units next to you are noisy, noise from unit above echoes down (chair moving, hard soled shoes, luggage rolling, dropping items).

Thank you for a great stay. We hope to come back next year. A good walk into the Malecon and lots of eateries and shops around. Having the big supermarket so near was great 😍
