This home was absolutely beautiful and clean. The location is stunning, on the water and convenient. Very easy drive to and from Acadia and Bar Harbor. Jeanne was accommodating and responsive but the whole experience felt very private and peaceful. We had a wonderful time and plan to be back.

A wonderful spot for our family’s weekend trip. We enjoyed the stunning views in this quiet spot in the woods. Everything was very clean and we appreciated the extras for our baby as well. The home is spacious and has tons of character. Thanks for a great stay!

We’ve been coming to Long Pond for more than 30 years and this home is a standout. It combines the rustic coziness of a vintage Maine cottage with the comfort and spaciousness of a modern home. The light and water views from the living/dining room are fabulous. It’s very clean and generously stocked…..actually like visiting a friend’s house. We loved the original art and beautiful rugs; this doesn’t feel like a cookie cutter rental. Jeanne is extremely welcoming and responsive. The loons called every night.

Heron’s Nest exceeded our expectations for a quiet, beautiful lakefront property and architecturally interesting and comfortable house. The dock and double decks were our constant hang-outs when we weren’t swimming or kayaking in that pristine Long Pond water. Jeanne was a delight to get to know and so responsive and knowledgeable. This is the best-stocked and cared-for Airbnb we’ve seen in all our years of travel.
