Swapnaja's place is just our of those quaint movels and stories from the countryside we all read as a kid. The simplicity is striking alongwith the host's endeavour to maintain the rustic charm of the place. The place is walkable distance from some breath taking views, be it Myria Jetty or the pristine beaches. the lane leading to it makes you a part of the Konkan culture. We went with our Dog and in the end she grew so fond of the place that she refused to leave. Hoping to visit again!

Swapnaja is a great, friendly host. She is helpful and also took us for a wonderful morning walk to a near by beach. Place was amazing. Stay is also beautiful with all the necessary amenities. Overall we really enjoyed the stay. Cheers 👍👍

Swapnaja and her dad made me feel right at home. From cooking the most delicious meal I had in Konkan to taking her time out to show me around a few places , Swapnaja truly is a gem. The location is 10 mins from the beach , making it very beautiful. For anyone who wants to have the ‘local’ experience - I’ll blindly recommend you to stay at Swapnaja’s place. Hope to visit you again very soon!

It’s a typical Konkani house and Swapnaja is a wonderful host. The food served is the best and is worth coming back to. The locality and the people are friendly too - I made friends with the naughtiest boy (Shlok) and a teenager (Keshav) who was seasoned in fishing and was more than happy to help me with my fishing endeavours. Swapnaja is kind and ensured that I was comfortable - she helped me cold medication as soon as I arrived and told her about it. Swapnaja’s father too helped me with my incessant coughs by personally getting adulsa leaves (ayurvedic herb) and giving me the concoction before I went to bed. I never felt out of home. I wish I had more time / holidays. Will be back soon to eat the yummy food prepared by Swapnaja, play with Shlok and learn fishing with Keshav. Might even venture out Swapnajas father on his evening walks! God bless the Sawant family and the village with abundance and long life.
