La maison est très agréable pour un séjour en famille. La proximité du lac est très appréciable. La région est splendide. Tout peut être fait à pied ou à vélo. Un petit bémol sur le ponton privé qui n’est pas respecté des touristes nous obligeant à faire le gendarme régulièrement. Les nuits n’ont pas été de tout repos, entre les jeunes qui viennent finir la soirée sur les pontons chantant hurlant et plongeant et le palace qui organise des soirées musicales en plein air sans se préoccuper des nuisances sonores. Ce désagrément relève plus de la municipalité et de la gendarmerie qui devraient organiser des rondes nocturnes afin d’assurer aux habitants une meilleure qualité de sommeil . Toute la famille a apprécié le confort de votre maison et nous serons ravis de renouveler cette expérience.

Fantastic location with astonishing view, direct access to the lake with private deck, well equipped and newly refurbished - perfect for family holidays. Ideal for all activities (5-10 mins walk to the tennis club and the sailing club), conveniently located to go to the town center where one could find high quality bakery and grocery. Very big garden as well. Menthon is great place to go to other villages around the lake (Talloires or Veyrier) but also to the mountain (Grand Bornand, La Clusaz). Would highly recommend Sophian’s place for anyone willing to live a truly amazing Annecy Lake experience.

Do not hesitate to rent this house! It has just been renovated and was perfect for us with 4 adults and 4 children in 5 bedrooms. It is ideally situated on the promenade - a narrow, quiet road with hardly any traffic and a footpath. Just a few steps out of the garden and you are on your own pontoon to jump straight into the lake; truly unique! We had a wonderful time. Within walking distance is a boat rental and 10-15 minutes walk is a bakery, butcher, supermarket and some restaurants. Ideal for a sunny summer holiday!

We spent a perfect week in this beautiful and tastefully renovated and furnished house. The house, the huge - almost parc-like - garden and the view over the lake and mountains are even better than on the pictures. We made full use of the private pier to the lake just in front of the house spending several hours in and on the water every day. We fully recommend this place and will definitely come back next year.
