I read past reviews and emailed Evolve prior to booking with a list of things, asking if they had done maintenance. I received assurance that all the things were fixed. They lied to me and everything was still broken, plus more. Broken banister caused fall down the stairs along with injury. Dining chair collapsed causing a fall. Two patios could not be opened as the door latches were broken. Several windows and blinds were not working. No working smoke alarms. Game room had no working games: pool table propped up on 2 recliners with random things sticking out from under it. Foos ball missing pieces and air hockey as well. Basketball hoop inaccessible as patio door wouldn't open. Could see a lot of broken glass out on that patio as well. Broken glass on main patio too. Ripped chairs in living room. Large stones from wall on ground in game room. Broken lights in multiple rooms. Broken dresser handles and broken cabinets. Chunks missing from tile counter in kitchen. Disappointed!

- [ ] Nespresso machine doesn’t work - [ ] Most of the handrails broken (someone fell on the stairs) - [ ] More than 10 light bulbs not working, and wasn’t replaced - [ ] Found different brown spiders, which are very dangerous - [ ] The towels in the house had hair in it - [ ] Most all of the doors were broken or not locking - [ ] Screen doors broken - [ ] Oven with a strong chemical smell when it is on and gas leak - [ ] The fridge not cooling well - [ ] Balcony very unstable - [ ] House was not properly clean. It had lots of Dorito’s chips under the bed - [ ] Pool table broken - [ ] Foosball table broken - [ ] Game board missing pieces - [ ] When we came we did not have hot water or gas for about 3h - [ ] The pool is 5 miles from the house - [ ] The cards to access the community center were expired and we went to the pool only one day because the lady let us go, but she kept all the cards and said we had to have another one

NO THANKS! We’ve been renting on Airbnb since 2015 and have to say this is by far the worst renting experience we’ve had. We rented this space for a family of 10, some of whom had a an 8 hr drive from Northern California. Upon arrival, we discovered there was no hot water, stove didn’t work, and no instruction was left on how/where to turn on the gas, which we figured out the next morning. We found a dead mouse in one of the bedrooms, and it was clear the cabin hadn’t been cleaned in a while, much less in preparation for our stay. We tried to get in contact with the host and Airbnb support to no avail. The cabin is in a mountainous, high elevation area, so our chances of getting help were further thwarted by the limited cellphone reception. We took cold showers during our stay, carried out a dead mouse, and searched high and low for the gas valve. Book away if this sounds like a good time!

Arriving was not ideal, the driveway was snowed in and there was one broken shovel in the garage for us to clear the snow. There were many broken light switches, closet doors out of their rails, screen doors ripped and out of their rails, as well as nails sticking out of furniture, the pool table was broken from the bottom leg and leaning to one side which made it unusable, the railing for the stairs was broken and loose off the wall, very dangerous for guests with physical disabilities, there were two toilet paper rolls left for 14 of us guests which was not nearly enough, after a $350 dollar cleaning fee i expected a bigger supply of toilet paper. When host was contacted, they were very late to respond and did not know what address we were staying at. Overall very unsatisfied with my stay and will be contacting airbnb for a partial or full refund, this place should be shut down until renovations have been done. If you are reading this chose some place else.

Check-in was at 4pm, but the house had not yet been properly cleaned. Housekeeping arrived after 4pm and the place was ready about an hour later. However, check-out was flexible which was fair. Overall the house is a great space with lots of room for 15 people. However, the place is in need of lots of maintenance/remodeling. One of the bedroom windows had no curtains/blinds. The kitchen lacked pots and pans. The dryer was also not working.
