Great location and view of Lake Balboa! Well stocked with kitchen accessories and towels. Only issues were some ants in the kitchen and the fact that the second bedroom did not have a queen bed as advertised, it was only a full.
The house and lake were just what we needed! Lots of time spent outside on the dock, in the sunroom, and cooking in the large, well-equipped kitchen together. The Balboa marina was very close and easy to rent a pontoon boat from. There were fun (new) board games in the living room and the TV was well equipped with streaming services. Some cons to note: the third bedroom did not have a comfy sleeping surface (I did not try the air mattress, just the daybed), no ladder to get out of the water if swimming off the dock, and lack of chairs on dock (we just brought our own, worked great). Overall I would recommend for a small family!
Beautiful house on Lake Balboa, as in right on the lake. Everything was pristine and free of clutter. We really enjoyed our peaceful stay here
Absolutely beautiful home that was right on the lake. I absolutely enjoyed the peace and quiet of the neighborhood. I have property in Hotsprings Village but have not built on it yet. We stayed at this beautiful home to get the feel of the gated community and the amenities it offers. Would definitely stay at this location again.
