If you are looking for a comfortable, tucked away spot, then this could suit you. Warm and cosy, it is very generously provisioned and equipped. While it is so quiet and thereis no through traffic, it is not far from civilisation and essential amenities. Having a little garden space was great, especially with having the dog. Many thanks to Carolyn for the hospitality.

Stayed at Carolyn’s place due to house renovations at our own home. It had everything we needed and Carolyn was a very responsive and welcoming host. The croissants, milk, tea, coffee (and more) were an unexpected bonus! We stayed with four legged friends and found the location ideal - with direct access to lovely country walks. There was a local pub which looked very welcome. However, we didn’t try it as the kitchen was very well equipped so we were able to cook for ourselves. We have an electric car and Carolyn kindly offered us use of her car charger. We slept at the airbnb but spent most of the days travelling back to our own home, packing up and liaising with builders. It was great to come away from the dust and mayhem to this calm haven. Hope to stay again and would definitely recommend.
