Casa da Horta is a guesthouse, restaurant and small organic garden, where we strive to provide the best quality experience for all that arrive here in beautiful Carrapateira. We have a number of different rooms to suit your needs, with a delicious breakfast included, our restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, serving fresh local sourced food and drinks to meet the needs of all tastes. Casa da Horta is the perfect destination for you to rest in comfort and your starting point to explore the surrounding area and beyond! Casa da Horta offers a variety of additional facilities available to all guests! These include a large roof terrace, a river side yoga platform, access to the river and boats that leads to beautiful Bordeira beach. Furthermore we have a clay roundhouse that offers a shady retreat nestled within our organic garden. This area is a hub of outdoor activities within the region, we can help you organise your adventure! Horse and bike riding with Carrapateira Extreme, Amado surf camp, Carrapateira Adventures offering SUP tours. Moreover massage and yoga sessions can be organised. There is plenty more to be enjoyed; our staff are here to help you make the most of this magnificent area! Our food is based around using local and sustainable ingredients, keeping food waste to a minimum and delivering on taste. Our dishes include strong vegetarian options but incorporate meat, fish, and seafood where we can be comfortable in the origin of the produce: working with local fishermen, farmers and growers. For lunch,we offer open toasts with varied ingredients from vegan to meat served on artisanal bread. Soups, salads, and homemade cakes are also on offer, alongside a variety of sides to add to your choices.
