Although I had to cancel my trip due to a family emergency while I was in route, Jon and Pam were amazing to work with. They provided excellent directions so I will know exactly where they are when I am able to return. They were not only fabulous hosts, they were friendly, kind and understanding of my situation and coordinated with Airbnb in processing a refund for me due to my circumstances. I look forward to rebooking and staying at the cabin as soon as my schedule permits.

We have been to the area many times. Beautiful place to stay. We also enjoy stopping at Jon & Pam's gift & coffee shop when in the area.

Jon and Pam's cabin was cozy, and peaceful. If you're looking for some peace and quiet this is the place for it. However, be warned that there is no electricity. they have a few solar lights so you can see in your cabin, but there are no outlets, and no running water. I had WiFi in my room so I could message people as there is no cell service, but I had no way to keep my phone charged. The description said "off grid" but I interpreted that as meaning just isolated and rural. I wish that this fact had been advertised more clearly.

I stayed at Pickens' cabin before when I hiked El Morro, familiar with the area. A great getaway stay.. Plan to stay again come fall.
