Marrams View is a cosy two bedroom cottage, which backs onto the dunes at Winterton-on-Sea. From the back door you're straight onto the dunes, where it's a two minute walk over to the beach. The front door opens into a porch, which leads straight into the comfortable living room. There are two sofas and throws are provided. The cottage has electric heating throughout, as well as an electric stove in the living room. There's a SMART TV with access to streaming services and Freesat. The dining room has seating for 6, and from there you go straight into the well equipped kitchen with views over the dunes. There's an integrated electric oven and microwave, hob, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier. The back door leads straight onto the dunes. Upstairs bedroom one is at the front of the cottage and has a comfortable king size bed. Bedroom two has a standard double size bed and is at the back of the cottage with views over the marrams. There's a large wet room upstairs with a walk in shower, wash basin and WC. In front of the cottage is good size enclosed garden with lawn area, flowerbeds and paths, and outside seating where you can catch the afternoon and evening sun. Marrams View welcomes four dogs free of charge, has off road parking for 2/3 cars and provides free WiFi for guests.

A very comfortable dog friendly cottage, spotlessly clean, quiet and well equipped. Perfect location backing on to the Winterton dunes so the dog walk started the minute we left the house. And a very short walk to the Fisherman's Return pub. I visited with two friends so having three double bedrooms was just what we needed although a downstairs toilet would have been handy! I like to visit Winterton every year and now that I've found this cottage I'm sure that I will be making a return visit next year.

A great home from home in a fantastic location, 10 min walk to a beautiful dog friendly beach. Good shop, cafe, chippy and big pub with great food in the village too. We had a great stay and will be returning soon.

Marrams View is tucked away in Winterton-on-Sea, a pretty unspoilt village perched on the Norfolk Coast. It only takes 2 mins to walk to long sandy beaches which are dog friendly all year round.
The local Fisherman’s Return pub (dog friendly) serves good food, and is a 5 minute walk from the property. Also in the village within walking distance you’ll find the village shop, Poppy’s post office and tea rooms (we can recommend the breakfasts), a fish & chip shop and Seal View café at the beach.
There’s an excellent choice of walks right from the doorstep, and Winterton Dunes is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). From the end of November to the beginning of January it’s pupping season for the local grey seal colony, with literally thousands of them on Horsey beach just 10 mins drive from Winterton. It’s an amazing sight to see.
For cyclists there’s a great choice of routes and trails to enjoy. A little further afield the Norfolk Broads offers scenic boat trips or hire your own boat for the day. There’s also fishing, kayaking, canoeing and paddleboarding available.
For families, the seaside town of Gt Yarmouth is only a 15 minute drive away, with a sandy beach, end of pier entertainment, Sea Life centre, amusement arcades, pleasure beach, bowling, cinemas, Venetian Waterways, crazy golf and much more. We also recommend the award winning BeWILDerwood an outdoor tree house adventure park with zip wires, jungle bridges, marsh walks and boat rides - just a 20 minute drive away near Horning. Wroxham Barns is nearby with independent shops, craft studios, a kids' farm, funfair and restaurant.
The fine city of Norwich is a 40 minute drive away, and offers shopping, museums, restaurants and a choice of theatres.

There is off road parking for two cars, with other free on-road parking available nearby in the village.
The nearest train station is Acle, or Gt Yarmouth (10 miles) which has a taxi rank.
A regular bus service connects Winterton with Gt Yarmouth and all the villages in between.
