Excellent accommodation for large group. Our extended family (8 persons) stayed for 5 days over Xmas. Particularly liked the open plan layout for social cooking and dining. The whole house was exceptionally well equipped to a very high standard, with everything clean and comfortable. The log burning stove made it feel particularly cosy. The location is also exceptional, being only a few minutes stroll to the beautiful beach and sand dunes of Southbourne. Great for walking and swimming (even on Boxing Day!!). Waitrose is only 5 minutes drive, and Bournemouth station only 13 minutes by car. Our host, Lucy, went the extra mile to beautifully decorate the house for the festive season, and was very helpful with information before our arrival.

Lucy's place was a lovely large house with plenty of space and bedrooms for our family of 6. The location was excellent with only a few minutes walk to the sandy beach. Good communication from Lucy, made everything easy - had some lovely meals out based on Lucy's recommendation list.

A beautiful house in an ideal setting just a few hundred yards from a lovely sandy beach. The property was ideal for our grandchildren who were able to play in the well stocked playroom or on the apparatus in the garden when they were not swimming or building sandcastles. The property is just far enough from the local shops to feel secluded and this was reflected by the fact that although it was a Bank Holiday the beach was far from crowded. The house offered everything we could wish for and we would certainly consider a return visit. Thank you Lucy.

Lucy's house is a real family home with a kids' playroom and safe child friendly garden with lots of play equipment. The kitchen is well equipped and there is plenty of seating in the dining area. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The location, very close to lovely sandy beaches, is perfect for a family holiday
