The hosts are very irresponsible. I have booked for 1 night. But when i called they said that they have another booking on the same day. Host Prabina has received my booking and host sunil sharma took another booking. Then i called directly to the airbnb customer care and they refunded me.

This was our first stay at a homestay in Darjeeling and unfortunately we were tight on schedule and hence cudnt spend much time at the homestay but sunilji made our stay absolutely seamless. He was just a call away and greeted us with absolutely mouth watering home made dinner. Also the entire place is exactly as represented in the images and feels like home away from home, especially sunilji with his super friendly and welcoming nature, is a top notch superhost. We will definitely stay here next time we are in Darjeeling.

We stayed here for a little less than 2 weeks in mid - Sept. This was our first time in a homestay and we really enjoyed having the entire apartment to ourselves. For a long period of stay, a hotel room can get quite boring. The apartment was big and well- maintained and thoughtfully decorated. But the best thing was the view from the den , where the windows open on to the valley . We were able to witness the Kanchenjunga range in its full glory at different times of the day. The best way to spend time is to sit at the workstation and watch the sky and clouds while reading or painting. The caretaker Sunil was extremely helpful and took care of all our requirements in terms of arranging cabs and getting us our daily requirements of water etc. His wife Shikha is an amazing cook and her chicken chowmein and chicken momos were our favourites. She even learnt to make us dishes from you tube based on our requests. All in all, a memorable stay in a lovely apartment, and the host was very helpful in recommending points of interest and stayed in touch with us as if we were her personal guests . Highly recommend this homestay !

Simply Awesome!!! dont give a second thought while booking this bnb. and yes, dont forget to order homemade food from the host himself. He is a supppperrrr host!

Me and couple of my friends wanted to spend a week in Darjeeling and work from the mountains. I got to know about this property through Airbnb and it seemed to be exactly what we were looking for. Prabina was quite fast in responding to our queries and we booked this place. Location : The place is just beside Ava Art gallery, 3 turns down from the main road, Mall road is 20 minutes walking or you can take cab , sharing cab for 30-40 and reserved for 300-400 rs. About the Property : 1. It's a big 2 bhk property + a dedicated workplace + a big living room + a beautiful veranda (porch) where you can see the mountains clearly (iff the weather is on your side) 2. The WIFI connection is pretty good, on request Prabina changed the speed from 30-100mbps with very nominal extra charge. There's a power back up option also available. But please be mindful of the fact in mountains you can't expect a smooth internet experience like home, we were 4 people connected to the wifi, and it was decent, rest of the times airtel/jio/voda all 4g connection were enough for our work. 3. You will also have a big TV with a firestick 4. Refrigerator, Microwave, Electric cattle, Gas oven, more than enough utensils, Iron and every possible equipment are available 5. Darjeeling is facing a huge problem of running water, mostly all the households are allocated with 1000 lt of water for 3 days, so though you will have a washing machine, ideally you should refrain yourself from using it. About the Host : 1. Prabina is super quick in responding to your queries 2. The place is maintained by Sunil ji and her wife, who are extremely polite, humble and caring people and will take care of everything once you ask. The rooms are well maintained, ventilated and clean. From the master bed room and work place you will get a direct mountain view. 3. They cooked some delicious food for us whenever asked, if you want to take lunch and dinner from them the rate is 100(breakfst)+200(lunch meal)+200(dinner meal) per day per head. I can still taste the special chicken masala and aloo pakoda, enough reason to visit again. 4. As I mentioned about the water problem, we ran out of water one night and Sunil ji arranged for the extra water late in the night without any hesitation . He will always be a phone call away for any help . He even offered us breakfast in his own house on the day we were retruning without any extra cost. 5. If you are a reader, again this place will be a heaven from you as you will be surprised by the book collection. Will definitely suggest this place as an ideal workation stay.
