We had a great week. John's flat is ideally situated between the beach, Christchurch and the New Forest. It was a bit on the cool side, but John turned the heating on . We enjoyed the very private garden. The beach was very close, and easy to walk to, although there was no view of the sea. It was also walking distance to Highcliffe and a lovely pub.

We really enjoyed our stay at John's place. It was quiet, private, warm and very cosy. John is a lovely host who always made sure we were comfortable and did a great job at gathering feedback on the place while we stayed. He gave us some great suggestions for restaurants and places to visit while we stayed. We stayed for 2 weeks, John and his wife made sure than we were supplied with fresh linen and consumables half way through our stay and also refreshed the apartment which was very much appreciated. Overall a great experience if you want a peaceful getaway with great views and even better restaurants, we will definitely be re-booking in the future.

A lovely area to explore from a very private flat in an ideal position, very close to the beach, pubs/restaurants and shops. Only a short drive to the New Forest, other beaches, nature reserves, marshes etc John and Maggie were extremely friendly and kind and went overboard to help us in many ways. We highly recommend them as hosts and their lovely clean modern private apartment with garden.

We had a lovely cosy and comfortable week in John & Maggie’s apartment in Highcliffe . So close to the gorgeous beach and lots of other great places to visit - even on the rainy day or two. Friendly warm welcome and very responsive to a couple of maintenance issues. Great base to explore the area. Would definitely stay there again
