A very warm welcome from the hosts, Helena and Martin, who allowed us to check in early!!! Much appreciated. Lovely accomodation. Great to sit out and eat whilst admiring their lovely garden. Thoroughly enjoyable stay.

We really enjoyed our time in Helena’s lovely Charlbury cottage. Lovely garden setting and very comfortable. Exactly as described. Very conveniently located for exploring the Cotswolds, but away from the hustle bustle, Charlbury is a lovely village with its own charms. We enjoyed dining at The Bell and The Bull (each 3 mins away) and walking the footpaths all around. Helena is a very gracious and responsive host. Highly recommend!

A Cotswold stay was on our list for a long time. Helena's guest cottage in Charlbury was everything we expected and more. Charlbury is a picturesque, quaint town with few tourists and we loved everything about its warm friendly people.. it was serene & beautiful, had every convenience you need, lovely walking trails.. Helena's guest cottage was perfect in everyway the comfy bed, kitchen has everything you need & more, bathroom had a rain shower & bathtub. Views of their lovely gardens from the windows .. we could just sit and keep looking... gardens are lush green and inviting with a large table on the deck to soak it all in... Helena, Martin & Tinka their labradoodle puppy were the warmest hosts and made our stay perfect in everyway. Martin even picked us up from the train station. Easy communication, lovely recommendations & some interesting coversations... We were sorry to be leaving this charming home of theirs so soon. We made three new friends and left wanting to coming back.
