Beautiful stay at The Cabin. Ian and Alison were very attentive and communicating to check in with us. Beautiful and peaceful area to stay. Couldn’t have asked for more for a little weekend away. Thank you so much!

We had a fabulous two night stay at the cabin. it was homely, warm and clean. Looked just like the pictures. Alison was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. There is a gate at the back of the garden which leads you out onto a track to Studley Royal and Fountains Abbey, lovely countryside walk and a great day out. Would definitely recommend this accommodation and would go back again. Thank you Alison and Ian 😁

What a find! The cabin was beautifully presented and everything you needed for a few nights away. Beautiful walks literally outside the back gate and with the cosy fire, comfy bed and amazing bath. All in all a brilliant spot. Thank you!

We have just returned from a wonderful 3 night stay at Ian and Alisons cabin. It was a perfect getaway. Ian and Alison are great hosts and have manged to cover everything in their cabin. Super comfy King Size bed with a great selection of books to read, fabulous chairs and footstools to relax in front of the woodburner (April weather in the UK giving Autumn vibes!) TV with plenty of choice, well stocked kitchen, the fruitloaf and milk/butter were a thoughtful surprise. Microwave, one hob (no oven but we did not miss having one as we ate out) Excellent bathroom with omnitub and powerful shower. Can't fault this place at all!. Easy walking distance to Fountains Abbey and Ripon. So many choices of places to eat and drink and a beautiful cathedral to visit. Half an hour drive to York park and ride which we did when we left. Highly recommend a stay here and we will hopefully be back.

lovely place... felt like a real retreat. Great place to unwind and de-stress. very comfortable bed good facilities set in a beautiful garden Great bathroom, bath is fantastic
