We had a wonderful time at Matt and Lisa's place. It is perfectly located for a peaceful country weekend, close to many beautiful walks and pubs, and is very good value. The hot tub was a perfect touch after a long morning of walks and the house has everything needed for a comfy stay (including a HUGE board game and DVD collection) Had a nice Sunday lunch at the local pub Farmers Boy which is an easy walk down the Rd and supper at the Penny Farthing - about an hour walk from the BnB but very picturesque. The hosts were excellent communicators and always available if we had any questions. Couldn't recommend this place enough for a chilled weekend away.

We had a lovely, restful stay ay Eggleton Styre. Matt & Liza are great hosts and the little touches like fresh milk, eggs and cake on arrival were very welcome and thoughful. It is an excellent base for exploring the local area, with Ross, Monmouth, Glocester and Abergavenny all a reasonable journey and worth a visit. All the dog freindly touches were much appreciated and dog sitting availble if required. The enclosed rear garden was very private and safe for our dog to explore and the private hot tub was a lovely treat after a day exploring the area.

Such a peaceful weekend! After enjoying all the outdoor activities that are local to the area (hiking, mountain biking, climbing) coming back to Eggleton Styre was very welcome. We loved how warm and cosy the fire made the living room, the hot tub was a very special addition as well. Matt and Liza had all the amenities to make the stay easy and comfortable like milk in the fridge, oil for cooking and extra thoughts for your doggies too.
