Incredible views and beautifully quiet (save for the abundant bird song). All the best bits of natural isolation, but with the modern advantage of fast WiFi - I could work and soak in the beautiful countryside simultaneously! I had a wonderful stay and can wholly recommend

This was a beautiful location for a quiet weekend away. Lucy's place is perfect for two people, just enough living space and immaculately presented. The alpacas and sheep were a very lovely bonus!

Perry Pear cottage is so beautiful! The views are amazing and it’s such a peaceful place to get away to! The place is SO clean and well stocked and there were even fresh flowers and flapjacks waiting for us when we arrived! I was glad Lucy had warned us about the narrow track up to the cottage but it actually wasn’t a problem! Such a great place to stay - thank you!

We booked this cottage as a last minute getaway and were not disappointed. The views are stunning and the cottage itself was beautiful, the pictures really do not do it justice. It was very cozy and clean and from the moment we walked in we felt like it was our home for the weekend, waking up to the sound of a nearby stream and seeing the alpacas and sheep was a treat! We were left tea, coffee, homemade flapjacks and fresh milk. There are loads of walking guides and maps which helped us plan our days and our host was on hand for any questions we had which were mainly about the bed and pillows and where we could purchase the same ones! It was a perfect little break away and would recommend it to anyone.

We had the most wonderful stay at Perry Pear Cottage! The cottage itself is set in the most beautiful, peaceful surroundings and we instantly felt relaxed upon arrival. Being able to hear the nearby stream and birdsong, and watch the neighbouring alpacas and sheep grazing all day was heaven! The cottage was even better than pictured, and we found it spotlessly clean and welcoming with everything you could possibly need helpfully provided. This included a locally picked bouquet of flowers and homemade flapjacks, and a fantastic welcome book with local guides and recommendations. Lucy was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the run up to, and during our stay, and was always on hand to help us with any queries. Her Kitchen Flowers jellies are delicious, and we made sure to stock up on more before returning home! We found the location great, with most destinations a short drive away, and will most definitely be booking in at Perry Pear Cottage again!
