Good place to stay

We stayed at Wendell’s for 4 months as we made the move from Ontario to Nova Scotia. Wendell was an exceptional host and has become a good friend. The space was spotless. There was ample parking (we had 3 cars at any given time) and you could not find a more accommodating host. The scenery around Wendell’s is gorgeous and quiet. The river is just across the road and he has kayaks and canoes available to rent in the warmer weather. The space is well kept & cared for. We lost power a couple times but Wendell was right there with the generator. The bnb itself was larger than we had expected. There was plenty to do (the tv box is AWESOME) and the full kitchen and in-suite laundry was very much appreciated. Wendell had snacks and the grocery basics stocked for us upon arrival which was lovely after driving for two full days. We would highly recommend Wendell’s airbnbs to anyone looking for a place to stay. Ps. The hottub is wonderful. Always clean and ready to use.

Wendell's place was the perfect spot for our Curling weekend, as it is only a 15 minute drive outside of New Glasgow, in a beautiful country setting. The house was built in the late 1900's, but it is very obvious that the place has been maintained. Our 3 bedroom apartment had all the amenities we could have asked for. We recommend Wendell's place and should we be in need of accommodation in this area again, we will certainly give Wendell a jingle.

Lovely place to stay and kind and helpful host. place was clean and tidy and had a functional kitchen. snacks left out for guests was a really nice touch. While it did not impact the quality of the stay, the host did message me too much. He checked in multiple times a day, and wanted to show me things in person but I was too busy with work to meet up. it came across as caring, however it was not ideal.
