House is in a great location the views are amazing. The house is beautiful very clean and comfortable. I can’t say enough good things about it . I would definitely stay there again .

We couldn’t be happier with the choice we made to stay at Home Away From Home, it truly lives up to its name, we were made to feel right at home! It was clean and comfortable and well stocked with all of the basics you could need. It is located in a great spot for restaurants and shopping and walking, and the view of the water every day was wonderful! It is as advertised, there were no surprises and we will be back again for sure!!

We were lucky enough to find this house when looking for somewhere to stay on the North Shore of Nova Scotia. It was in the perfect spot for us, a short and very pleasant walk to the Hector exhibit and other waterfront examples. We watched the eagles and osprey every day from the front deck. The house was very clean, extremely comfortable and Dave and his brother were easy to reach and very helpful. We definitely recommend this as a great place to stay.

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome by David. There was a genuine sense of generosity in his hosting. We were made to feel very much at home here. In Nova Scotia, there is often talk of a “down-home welcome”; this was the real thing. The property itself is in the centre of town, directly overlooking the harbour, and near a couple of very nice waterfront bars; but these close very early (typically at around 8:00), so the house itself is as quiet at night as if it were located in a much more remote location. It was spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and, of all the many Air BnB properties in which we have stayed around the world, by far the best equipped, particularly in the kitchen. Comfortable, quiet, a spacious deck, a good view, and most importantly, a generous welcome. This property ticks all the boxes.
