Great place to get away from it all- quiet and private space in the woods but near enough to amenities. Responsive host.

Perfect place, if you like to do nothing, we took a portable radio. Really peaceful If your not an outdoors person who doesn’t like camping this isn't the place for you. As washing, cleaning and cooking is outside. Would recommend for people who like to live in nature . The host was really friendly. And enjoyed random visits from pumpkin the dog. Would advise to take stuff for mosquitos!

What a lovely stay. As peaceful as it's gonna get with 1 and 3 year old, and large dog. All the basic amenities you'll need and perfect for our family's needs :)

We all had a lovely time in Hughie. My girls loved being outdoors in the woods, and the outside shower was a fantastic experience for all! It felt very secluded despite being close to amenities, and whilst the weather tried to dampen our weekend we still made good use of the bbq and fire pit. Laurence was friendly and helpful - a very enjoyable, quirky stay!

This was a perfect little spot to get away from the busy world around you. Everything was as described and Laurence was very pleasant and helpful. We were left to it and just enjoyed sitting by the fire in the middle of the woods. Didn’t need to really take anything apart from food, all household bits and pieces were there. Laurence’s description is very helpful all of the other reviews prepared us for what to expect, recommend reading some of these to find out if this is the right place for you. I can honestly say I can’t wait to return next year.
