Marie was a great host. She went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable during my stay. The location is great. Beautiful lake with paddleboards and kayaks available for use, easy drive into many surrounding areas including Acadia, and some nice hiking within just a few minutes drive of the house. Would definitely stay again if I'm back in the area!

Marie’s home on the lake is fabulous and picturesque — it’s everything you could want in a vacation spot. And Marie is the most generous of hostesses! She had a number of breakfast snacks and treats for me upon arrival, and even was kind enough to take me out on her boat for a morning ride. Where else can you jump off a boat and swim while looking up at a bald eagle nest? The stargazing this far north is also amazing. I spent a weekend here, including a day at Acadia — an easy hour drive away — and wish I could have spent more time. I’d come back again in a heartbeat.

Marie is an amazing host! She’s so friendly and welcoming. She is beyond accommodating and created the best Airbnb experience I’ve had. She bought us wine , fruit, eggs, sausage, salmon and Whoopi’s pies! She let us use her paddle boards as well as gave us a ride on her jet ski! She told us not to worry about dishes or cleaning and really took care of us. Her house is beautiful and the lake was amazing to use ! You must stay at her home !

Marie was an incredible host and was very accommodating to us during our trip. She provided us with snacks, local food, tea/coffee, and beverages. Her lake house was incredibly clean and comforting—overlooking a beautiful lake. Enjoyed sitting on the deck and taking out a paddle board onto the lake to watch the sunset with loons swimming nearby. Close to Bangor and an hour from Mount Desert Island—this is a magical spot that we highly recommend visiting.
