Susan’s place was exactly what I was looking for. It was a peaceful, beautiful place to enjoy with my grand kids. Spent the day swimming , and taking in the most beautiful back yard. Susan was very responsive and kind. We definitely will stay again .

I can see why this home is snapped up so fast! We loved relaxing in the beautifully manicured backyard, watching the sunset make the mountains pink, and keeping warm by a bonfire. The hot tub was another perfect way to end to a day of outdoor adventure. And we were able to treat our kids to the best hikes, thanks to recommendations from our wonderful host, saving us loads of research time. As far as the interior of the home, you can tell Susan has a designer’s eye and a knack for hospitality. From the touches of Southwest pottery and artwork to the well-stocked hall closet filled with fluffy beach towels and handy tidbits, everything is very well thought out. Then there’s the whole house sound system (game changer!), loads of natural light, and lots of comfy spots to enjoy a meal or a movie. At least one of the days we didn’t even leave the property, except to go to the grocery store! (Which was super close BTW) Honestly, already looking at next year’s dates!

Thanks so much to Susan, the perfect host, for sharing her beautiful home with our family of five for the full month of December! This very well-equipped home was spacious, comfortable and had gorgeous landscaping, including very productive orange, lemons, grapefruit, and tangerine trees! We were spoiled! We loved that we could bike right from the house on the extensive Tucson/Oro Valley bike paths to locations all over Tucson, including Catalina State Park (just fifteen minutes away by bike). With its awesome, unobstructed view of the Catalina mountains, the backyard is a perfect sanctuary to relax, birdwatch, or enjoy the hot tub or pool. We’ll definitely be back!
