Justin was amazing, accessible when needed, helpful with local recommendations for things to do, friendly, and welcoming. Due to it being the middle of May & not a lot of attractions open, my family and I will be back this summer to experience everything Muskegon has to offer & we will be staying at Justin's place 😊

We needed a place to stay at the last minute due to a funeral in Michigan and the Rood Retreat was perfect! We didn’t utilize much of the house due to a very busy stay, but it met all of our needs. We loved having a TV in the bedroom, the shower pressure was amazing, the kitchen had everything one would need if you were going to cook and eat. Very flexible check-in as we arrived late at night, the location was easy to find and very convenient to stores and food. We were able to squeeze in a little ping-pong time which was very relaxing. We didn’t utilize the backyard but we did watch the birds and squirrels from the windows. We were lucky enough to see deer in the neighborhood from the kitchen windows which was awesome. Everything was great! Justin was kind, helpful, and responsive. Great place for a family. We’ll stay again!

Nice place to stay if you're in the area. Felt like living at home and with multiple rooms/beds, it made it much easier to travel with kids. Would absolutely recommend!
